Hi, is douching really safe? I am 23 and I've recently read some ayurvedic douche preparations,I never realized before that maybe all I've heard in every health class about douches being dirty and dangerous could be an exaggeration.I am somewhat confused...what about the "delicate balance" of my vagina?and how it cleans itself? Is there a risk with a douche? Could diet substitute for this?
